Postage with the Mostage, a Greer exclusive, was featured in Brides Chicago 2008 Spring/Summer issue, titled “Stamp of Approval”. Brides may choose decorative or themed vintage postage for added intrigue and attention to their wedding envelopes.
Smaller Than Life
Can you find the Bureau de Poste envelope in the recycled felt hanging organizer? We guess the Country Homebodies couldn't bear to tuck it into the pocket. We love it!
My Bureau de Poste envelopes received the stamp of approval from InStyle magazine, as an Object of Desire ( pp.560-61 ). The September 2006 issue was 585 pages of fashion passion and retail therapy.
A deluxe placecard can serve as a party favor or as a memento of a special occasion. I was commissioned for “A Novel Approach” in Traditional Home (October 2005). For a bookish brunch, I made small bookmark placecards with each guest’s name in calligraphy, and a narrow organza ribbon on the end. Each placecard rested on the back of an Origami crane that I folded from Spanish hand-marbled paper.
Bureau de Poste envelopes were featured in a write up titled "Stamped with Style" in the Chicago Tribune's Tempo section (April 26, 2005). Staff reporter Robert K. Elder subtitled his article: Vintage Postage + Unique envelopes = Special Message.
