The smallest handmade book in the shop is 3 x 3—and weighs barely an ounce. The front and back covers are squares of hand-dyed linen (no two the same). The interior pages are watermarked Plover Bond. The slightly toothy finish is great for all manner of medium that we stock in the shop, from woodless graphite pencils to Kyo-no-oto fountain pen inks, and everything in between. The Japanese-style binding is, appropriately, Japanese cashmere yarn.
