These beautiful blank books have a sewn binding with an attached softcover. The pages vary harmoniously, presenting a lovely mix of shades, thicknesses, and textures, all 100% cotton rag and acid-free. Each page offers a truly splendid surface for watercolour, gouache, pen & ink, and pencil. The book opens completely flat, and, as you can see, there is a natural dreamy deckle on some fore-edges. 

Another lovely detail: In the lower right corner of the cover is the Atelier Écluse logo, foil-stamped in copper. Très chic.

Yet another lovely detail: The wide belly-band (2½ x 14) features a map of the Saint-Henri neighbourhood…and would make a brilliant bookmark.
