Janet’s cards (20 whimsical watercolours and 1 wonderful collage) draw on her garden, her travels, and her sensibilities. She says “I’m often most inspired by the small, homey stories in my sight line.” The 4 x 6 postcards and notecards are all printed on Mohawk Superfine with an eggshell finish. The image side is matte lustre, and the message side is uncoated, so effortless to write on.

If you’d like the complete set of 21 cards, you have the option of receiving 21 Carta Pura A6 envelopes to present them in: atop a package, in the post, at the table, or on the pillow. If you prefer to purchase the set without envelopes, you certainly can. The postcards are mailable at the postcard rate, currently 56¢ (or a Forever postcard stamp). Speaking of rates, if you buy the set of 21 cards, you receive a two-card discount.

Janet began her art practice in earnest after her retirement (from teaching English) several years ago. Now, she has become an avid sketcher and watercolourist.
