Hexagonal collapsible pencil cups
Hexagonal collapsible pencil cups
These cups are paragons of Japanese paper craft and attention to detail. I’ve carried them in the shop since Day #1, but never offered them online because they are diabolical to photograph. They are a pleasure to look at, even if you aren’t curious as to how the panels are hinged. The cups are fully lined in Moriki, in a shade somewhere between salmon and coral. Traditional red Japanese cording provides the “structural integrity” to support the hexagonal base, likewise completely covered in Moriki.
Measures: 4¾ inches tall x 3¼ dia.
The pencil cups arrive assorted (and collapsed), so I will select for you, based on my mood and the moon. (If you are allergic to any particular shade, kindly advise.)
Might we suggest some writing accessories to populate your pencil cup? Two dozen pencils fit quite nicely (and three dozen fit sumptuously). Click here to see an unparalleled house-made assortment. And: 25 LePen felt-tip markers also fill the cup beautifully, fanning out in perfect plumage form. And: A full set of Lyra Colour Giants fits in great comfort. Delyr’ium ensues!
Wrapped in our complimentary signature style: white tissue, French embroidery thread & our favourite washi tape of the day.
