Over the years, we have wrapped thousands upon thousands of sturdy 2B graphite pencils in Japanese papers. We continue to be charmed by how different a pattern looks wrapped around a pencil compared to how it “reads” on a flat surface such as a book or box. These are still our favourite all-around pencils to use for practically everything. And, yes, there is an eraser at the top. And, yes again, you can sharpen these in a standard manual sharpener. Delightful—at a dainty discount—by the dozen: We use umpteen different patterns, so there are never duplicates in an assortment. If you can’t come in, we will select for you. If you’d like to specify a particular palette, you are welcome to call or email us.
