These seven Japanese mulberry papers—from my reserves of Aiko’s treasures—date back to the last century. The subtle patterns are distinct and distinctive. The papers feel and behave like cotton—they are supple and glue like a charm. Beautiful for a book cover, an endpaper, a hand-folded envelope or lining. If you use one to wrap a gift, the recipient will be able to re-use it, perhaps more than once. (I highly recommend using a teflon bonefolder with these papers.)
